HIGHEST PERFORMANCE
Kessler Shape Technology

A technology quantum leap resembling that of the carving revolution. The Kessler Shape Technology, developed and patented by Hansjürg Kessler, enables us to combine the enjoyable effects of rocker-boards and -skis on the ski piste with the demands of safety, grip of edges and stability.

The special clothoid board geometry allows applying an infinite number of radii on turns and permits variable turn radii with one and the same pair of skis: carving small and tight turns as well as long drawn-out turns at all speed levels. The pressure of the edges is effective where it is needed and at the same time reduced where it handicaps.

How it works

The special clothoid geometry enables a variety of curve radii. It is only when the ski or board is edging that the impact of the interaction between the side cut and rocker line comes into effect. The further a ski with KST is tipped, the greater the contact surface with the snow becomes.

Under pressure, the front and back surface contact points move towards the middle of the ski or board. The rocker line starts to become visible, and the tip and tail lift slightly, resulting in negative tension. This is how the radii that would normally cause edging to occur are negated.
